Bobcat Radiator Saver

The radiator saver became neccesary after running the forestry cutter in dense woods day in and day out. During daily cleaning of the radiator , if the oil cooler slipped and hit the radiator it would put a hole in it. thus the radiator saver was born ! Once the 3 wear strips are installed the oil coller can easily and safely be slid back out of the way for cleaning the radiator with out harming it . For 39.99$you will recieve 3 protecctive wear strips and all mounting hardware. The strips are very easy to install with basic mechanical knowlege.
First You must swing the air conditioning condenser up out of the way , so that the oil cooler can be slid toward the rear and flipped up off the radiator , becarefull the oil cooler can very easily puncture or rub a hole in the delicate aluminum radiator . Once the oil cooler is safely out of the way , line up the right and left rsdiator savers with the existing holes on the top side of the radiator , lat them in a vertical fashion and mark the holes to be drilled on the bottom side , next lay the center radiator saver and mark the additional holes to be drilled , we recomend using a black permanent marker like a "sharpie" to clearly mark the holes to be drilled . It is also recomended that you use a center punch so as you are drilling you drill bit does not wander and you get hole exactely where you have marked them .
once the holes have been drilled lay your new radiator saver's in place and bolt them into position with the 1/4" bolts and flat washer's supplied with your kit!
Now that the radiator savers have beeen installed you can safely reinstall the oil cooler with out fear of harming the radiator . Expensive down time due to routine maintenance of cleaning the radiator so your skidd steer runs cool , will be a thing of the past !!
